then
q = 7.3 cm
M = - di / do
1.78 = - di / 14.6
di = - 1.78 X 14.6
di = 25.988 cm
and then to calculate the focal length f
1 / f = 1 / d0 + 1 / di
1 / f = 1 / 14.6 + 1 /( -25.988 )
= 0.030
f = 1 / 0.030
f = 33.33 cm
q = f / 2 = 33.33 / 2 = 16.665 cm
