Given :

Object Distance u = 3.2m

Focal length f = -0.81m

So, for the equation 1/v + 1/u = 1/f

1/v = 1/f -1/u = -1/.81 - 1/3.2 = -1.55

v = - 0.645 m

Magnification m = -v/u = 0.206 positive value, so image is upright.

So size of image = 0.206X1.7 = 0.342 m
