Jefferson was one of the greatest president to pen down such thaught which emphasizes that all men are equal. This was just before the american revolution when it was used in a declaration. It empowers every indiviual of america with immense power and rights.

But there were some twist to it. As it was also giving a sense of anti slavery the congress amended the draft and finally the verdict that came was all free men are equal because president jefferson was also having some slaves

It gives power to many a people to live equaly among others and enjoy every right and facility given by the goverment
