(A) Q1i = C1 V = 8uF x 22 V

= 176 uC ....Ans

(B) suppose final voltage is V' across them

then applying charge conservation,

Q1i = Q1 + Q2

176 = 8V' + 9 V'

V' = 10.35 Volt

Q1 = 8 V' = 82.8 uC .....Ans

Q2 = 9 V' = 93.2 uC ....Ans
