3. When looking at a fish swimming in a fish bowl do you see the fish's actual size? Wnot fish be bigger or smaller and why?

Explanation / Answer

Of-course the fish will be appear bigger. This is because of the refraction of light.

When light enter the water from air, it moves towards normal. This is because of the fact that air is rarer and water is a denser medium and then light reaches your eye so it seems that the objects underwater are big in size.

Also remember on thing that if you see the surface of a transparent water little up then it means that water is deep, however this is not your case as you are dealing with fish bowl !
