mv^2/2 = kx^2/2

Given m = 0.015 kg , k = 20N/m , x = 0.07 m

Let v be the velocity of the pellet while leaving

v = (kx^2/m)

v = (20*0.07^2/0.015)

v = 2.556 m/s

So the kinetic energy = mv^2/2

Kinetic energy = 0.015*2.556^2/2 = 0.049 J

Therefore, kinetic energy = 0.049 joules
