Explanation / Answer

Electricity can be generated several ways; however, in the endthere will need to be some conducting source that can transmit thisenergy. Meaning that a generator or coiled wire must bepresent. Examples of ways to create electricity; (static electricity)rubbing balloon in hair; wind/water turbines; solar panels; nuclearfission; magnetic fields;etc.... Magnetic Poles and electric fields are related very loosely. Youcan create one with the other; however the main difference is thatan electric field is not a property of a material. Meaning that awire can display magnetic properties, but will not "shock" you, until it interacts with another force. The importance of electromagnetism is everywhere. The most commonuse of electromagnetism is both in medical fields and at powerplants. Nuclear fission produces more energy, butelectromagnetism is favored because of the non-toxic waste. As formedical fields, it is used in everything from CT scans to EKGscanners. In context to the earth's atmosphere. There are positrons andinverse protons( i forget their names, sorry). That intermingle andcan produce many error in meterology experiments. Also, the UVA/UVBradiation goes "crazy" up there and can either refract or reflectdepending on the angles and intensity. Additionally, rainbows areanother example.
