I need any engineer to answer these questions.

1) What do you consider professional communication in this job/field? Examples?

2) How often and in what ways do you use email, phone, fax, letters, conferences, memos, reports, proposals, websites, meetings, social media or digital tools to do collaborative work, etc.?

Explanation / Answer

1)a) professional communication encompasses written, oral, visual and digital communication with in a workplace. it is a new discipline that focusses on the study of information and the ways it is created, managed, distributed and consumed.

since communication in a modern society is a rapidly changing area, the progress of technologies seems to often outpace the number of available expert practitioners. This creates a demand for skilled communicators which continues to exceed the supply of trained professionals.

The field of professional communication is closely related to that of technical communication, though professional communication encompasses a wider variety of skills. professional communicators use strategies, learning theory and technologies to more effectively communicate the business world.

Ex: short reports , proposals ,case studies, memos.

2)a) In developed technology ,we use all these email, phone, fax, letters, conferences, memos, sports, proposals, websites, meeting, social media or digital tools for various purposes.

For giving fast reply to the persons waiting for work in our company we use email.

for faster communication in critical situations we use phone.

For giving faster information about the job or for inviting them to the company we use letter.

To know in detail about the company or the job we use website.

To gain more knowledge about the work or to be in contact wiith friends we use social media.

To report about the work we use reports.

For group discussions about the work we propose meetings.

3)a) Verbal communication include communication between face to face, telephone, radio or television and other media.

written communication include communication like mails, books, magazines, the internet or via other media.

Face to face communication is more useful and better. Because in this we can know the expressions and feelings of the other person .where as in other communications it is very difficult to find the feelings and expressions.

4)a) Before joining in the job we come across written communication like sending resumes to their mails or attempting written tests for that company to become eligible for that job.

types of written communication include :Letters, internet websites, proposals, telegram, faxe, post cards.

after passing in written test we enter into verbal communication.i.e face to face communication

i.e JAM ,interrviews etc.

In getting a job both verbal and written communications are important. Both play a crucial role.

5)a) Some of the constraints include time and funding ,make your job more difficult.

The applicant may ask this question to help him determine what his own constraints would be if he took the position he's interviewing for.

Manager approves your written work before it leaves the office.

we write this as a part of our team
