For part a you would use the equation y= V(squared) - Vinitial(squared) / 2a where your V is 20, your Vinitial is 0 and your a is9.80 B. you would use y= Vinitial(t) + 1/2at(squared) where y= your answer from a but be careful you have to factor out t: so it would be t(20-4.90t)= whatever you get for a then you would get two answers t=0 and t= whatever thecalcualtion is: use the second!
