Yes , the influence will be very much different if a person watch a commercial over the radio, newspaper , television and internet.
Newspaper is considered as the most trusted medium. The credibility of such advertisement is quite high. On the other hand they don't have much coverage. The advertisement.is only seen by people who buy the particular newspaper.
T.V adds have both audio and visual images they give high impact messages. They have the highest coverage area as television has penetrated the most in the world. But they are not as credible as newspapers.
Radio were very popular in past but now they are slowly fading away. They have only audio advertisement. Hence their credibility is less as compared to T.V and Newspaper. They also have less coverage area as compared to T.V and Newspaper.
Internet is the newest medium and the most fastest growing. It contains various type of advertisement like audio and visual , pop up advertisement which are visual. Some websites are only created for advertisement purpose , here you can buy and sell goods like Amazon , eBay etc. This type of advertising is still growing and has lot of scope.
