Question

Hello, I have a lab tomorrow, and I am very bad at physics. I want to prepare myself for the lab since it's hard. Picture 1 is explanation of the lab, page 2 & 3 are the lab that we're assigned to do. Just explain to me what I should do in each part.

There will be a lot of measurments and stuff like that. But I want you to put random numbers in each column (assuming you have equiment in front of you) and then explain how you answered that (if there was a formula or something). You can do one row only , so I can get the idea only. (that's for the last picture)

Answer questions 1 - 4 correctly. ( in the last picture ) <=== THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!! (Please answer them correctly) The instructor always mark me off for those questions since he says it's incorrect or not completely correct.

This is really hard for me. I really need your help. i just want to get the idea of the lab.

you might need to open the pictures in a new tab. so you can view it clearly

Thanks

Explanation / Answer

kinetic energy at t1=0.5*m*v1^2

kinetic eenrgy at t2=0.5*m*v2^2

potential eenrgy at height h1=m*g*h1

potential eenrgy at height h2=m*g*h2

so total eenrgy=E1=K1+U1=0.5*m*v1^2+m*g*h1

total energy=E2=K2+U2=0.5*m*v2^2+m*g*h2
