RT, a 28-year old first time father, was watching his 4-month old baby for the weekend while his wife was away at a sales meeting. Things were going well until he had run out of breast-milk to give the baby, so he went to the store to get some formula. The baby responded well to the formula – consuming an entire bottle in one feeding. An hour later he noticed a smell and figured it was time to change the baby’s diaper. To RT’s horror, the baby had a very wet diaper (including diarrhea) and a bright red rash all over her butt. After he cleaned up the mess, he looked around the baby’s changing table for remedies for this horrible rash, but he couldn’t find anything. As he was about to panic, he remembered some useful acid-base chemistry from a class years ago. Looking the refrigerator two items caught his attention plain yogurt and eggs. RT choose to use the yogurt. Did RT make the right choice or should he have used the eggs? Explain your recommendation be sure to include the chemistry behind your choice

RT was right.because curd offers lots of benefits for the skin because it is rich in vitamin C, zinc and calcium which is recognized as the best ingredient for natural skin care and minimizes blemishes.Diluting curd with water and applying it over the affected area cools the skin and brings relief. This can be used on children as well, as it has no side-effects. This will also hydrate the skin. This is probably one of the best remedial effects of curd.Nappy rash or other heat-related rashes or rashes caused by insect bites can be dealt with diluted curd or buttermilk.
