acceleration of the blocks = net force/total effective force

acceleration of the blocks = (m2 - m1)* 9.8/(m1 + m2 + 0.50 * M* R^2/R^2)

acceleration of the blocks = (0.571 - 0.377)* 9.8/(0.571 + 0.377 + 0.50 * 0.530 * R^2/R^2)

acceleration of the blocks = 1.57 m/s^2

the acceleration of the blocks is 1.57 m/s^2

b) For the tension T1

T1 - m1 * g = m1 * a

T1 = (0.377) * (9.8 + 1.57)

T1 = 4.29 N

the tension T1 is 4.29 N

c) in the right side

m2 * g - T2 = m2 * a

0.571 * 9.8 - T2 = 0.571 * 1.57

T2 = 4.7 N

the tension T2 is 4.7 N
