Question
How does the perpendicular distance from the object pin to the line marking the reflection surface compare with the distance from the image to that line?
I'm having trouble understanding both questins below, for 4.3, are the angles the same?
Image Pin Object Pin Mark at back edge of mirror. Look along dotted line. Figure 4.1 Figure 4.2 Question 4.2 How does the perpendicular distance from the object pin to the line marking the reflective surface Figure 4.1) compare with the distance from the image to that line? 9) Construct a perpendicular line at the point where each of the rays intersects the mirror surface (the line at the ba edge of the mirror). Measure the angle of incidence and angle of reflection. Neatly tabulate your results for each r Question 4.3 What can you say about the angle of incidence and angle of reflection for each of the rays?Explanation / Answer
Q ; 4.3
in both the cases
the angle of incidence and
angle of reflection are same
so
the angle of incidence = the angle of reflection
in each of the rays by using the figure...
so here in this case no need to discuss the distance
so here the discussion is only about angles..
this is the reason why it can say same.
