we have F = k*q1*q2 / r2
part A
force on -2.5 nC due to -8.0 nC
net distance between them r = 2 meter and k = 9 * 10^9
F = k(-8 nC)(-2.5 nC) / 22 = 4.5 x 10^(-8) N

force will be equal and opposite in direction to that of above calculated force
