Question
Hello Chegg savior.
I just a few questions regarding genetics that need clarification for much appreciated thank you!
Is this statement true of false? If it false why?
- palindromes are found in type 1 endonuclease.
2. What is the benefit of using mammalian cells for expression hosts?
3. what are two reason as to why someone would use a genomic library over cDNA library?
my answer was:
1. geometric library contains all genetic garments of dna from a given cell or organism
2. cDNA has only coding sequences which can only be used in prorates since they have no splicing mechanism.
if there are better reasons please explain why in the most simplest way
Explanation / Answer
1. This statement is false. Palindromes are not present in type I endonuclease. Rather it cuts at the palindromic sequences. They identify palindromic sequences and cut at that point.
