Explanation / Answer

Actually when a charged particle enters into the magnetic field region then it travels in a circular path. The magnetic field in non zero region is should be inwards the plane of the paper because from the figure it is clear then the electron is in counter clokwise direction. And the force should be maximum when the velocity of the particle is perpendicular to field. So the only option is either into the plane or out of the page. Therefore the negtivly charged particle in counter clockwise direction when the field direction is into the plane of the paper. (x)
