We know that

Q = m Lv

m = Q/Lv = 9.76 x 10^5/2.5 x 10^6 = 0.39 kg

Hence, m = 0.39 kg

mass of fat burnt = mass of water

m' = 233.33/8.8 = 15.91 g = 26.52 x 10^-3 kg

% = 26.52 x 10^-3/0.39 x 100 = 6.79 %

Hence, % = 6.79 %
