History: Includes motivation behind designing resistor, who invented first, what type of resistors they have used for initial instance?and different types of resistors. Applications: where it wiil be used and how efficient it is and more over application gives brief idea about component and How it will be used? characterictics :includes Physical : colour, size, weight type of material.Mechanical,Thermal and Electrical characteristics. Standards: for example- IEC 60062:2016/COR1:2016 stable and recent standard for resistor IEC 62:1952 by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for resistor capacitor and inductor.
