Any one has answered the questions below
1. Express the theory of flight associated with rotary aircraft, and rotary wing aerodynamics, explaining such things as Gyroscopic Precession and effects of torque reaction and directional control. 2. Explain the general concepts behind rotary aircraft structures and construction methods, and describe the airworthiness requirements applicable to the design and construction of a typical rotary aircraft fuselage, and systems such as pylons, fuel storage and symmetryExplanation / Answer
1.A spinning body can be used to control the stability of machines with rotating parts. The basic is FIRST LAW OF GYROSCOPE.It says that a freely supported gyro on a frictionless gimbals will maintain its axis in a specified direction. We provide an artificial horizon and a profile datum, known as gyro horizon and directional gyro.Pitching and yawning has no effect on the gyro axis, but rolling has, means the rolling of aeroplane applies a rolling moment L causes the glimbal to rotate, this is simply known as precession. This precession is restricted by central springs which which apply moment to gimbal.Equilibrium is reached when glimbal is rolling at the same rate as the aeroplane had deflection, depending on spring rate indicated by pointer.By exchanging the axesso that sprin axis is horizontal, a rate of turn or pitch is given.
