A) When the magnitude of the magnetic field decreases to 0.30 T in 0.087 s, the average induced emf in the loop is 1.2 V. What is the initial value of the magnetic field?

B) What is the average current around the loop and what is the direction of the current if the magnetic field decreases to 0.30 T in 0.087 s and the average induced emf in the loop is 1.2 V.

a. e = AdB/dt

B1-B2 = 1.2* 0.087

B1 initial = 0.4044 T

b. induced current i = e/R = dB/Rdt

i = 0.1044/1.5 * 0.087

i = 0.8 A avg current = 0.4 A
