The extremophile will grow in neitral pH and room temperature because they have ability to tolerate extreme conditions that doesn't mean that they can not survive normal conditions. In extreme hot conditions they have heat shock proteins that let them survive in that condition but they can survive in normal conditions it is just that they won't need heat shock proteins in this case.
