Question

Suppose you tried to imporvage the accuracy of a lab by dropping objects from very tall heights. What issues might actually reduce your accuracy in this case. What would your graph look like at the data points furthest from the origin.

I put: the farther the height the more drag increases. Without a vacumn there is friction between the object and the air which can resist the object. The time of the free fall will be much higher so the graph will curve higher.

I am not sure if I am on the right track or if my answer doesnt answer the question correctly.

Explanation / Answer

you are right as of higher extra time when one goes farther, but graph is a curve which more or less look like linear line.If curve higher there must be a point at which Infinite time for finite distance whch is not possible.
