Question
A 7.00 x 10^-4 can be moved to either points A, B and C. Each little square in the grid is 10.0 cm on a side.
(a) Assume that the grid is in a parallel plate capacitor, perpendicular to the plates. Make a sketch of the grid in the capacitor and show where the positive and negative charge are on the capacitor.
(b) Calculate the change in potential energy when the charge is moved to A.
(c) Calculate the change in potential difference when the charge is moved to A.
(d) Do the same as in parts B & C, but now the charge is moved to point B instead (from its original point). (e) Do the same as in parts B & C, but now the charge is moved to point C instead (from its original point).
