Question
Two long parallel wires are a center-to-center distance of 1.30 cm apart and carry equal anti-parallel currents of 2.20 A. Find the magnetic field intensity at the point P which is equidistant from the wires. (R = 9.00 cm).
I found 3.51255x10^-7 to be the answer but it is incorrect. I used B=uoI/(2*pi*r). Please help!

Please help!Explanation / Answer
(B_{net} = [mu_0 I/(2pi sqrt{R^2 + d^2/4})] imes 2 imes sqrt{rac{d^2}{4(R^2 + d^2/4)}}) Can you do it further or should I help? You didn't take the vector sum of the two fields. The components against each other cancel out and those perpendicular away from the d line enforce each other. These are the cos components
