a b c or d
and short explanation why others diagrams do not work
Chapter 16-Timing and Counting Functions 205 Timer Safety Circuit. A time control is to be installed to operate a sandblasting machine. A part is automati- cally sandblasted for 30 sec when the operator places the part in the machine, closes the door, and turns on a toggle switch. The sandblaster is powered by a motor (controlled by MI). During sandblasting, a red pilot light illuninates, indicating danger At all other times, a green pilot light illuminates, indicating it is safe to open the door. Overload protection should be provided for the motor Complete the following line diagrams 3. Use Data Sheet E on page 393 to complete the timing circuit line diagrams. Use standard lettering, num- bering, and coding information MOTORExplanation / Answer
Option B is correct because when the operator give start command to the machine, the clutch coil pickup and it changeover its contact, the motor will run for 30sec and both overload relay and red light comes in line. after 30 sec the motor contacts changes and hence the overload relay and red pilot light part disonnected and green pilot light circuit comes in line.
In option A - wiring of green and red light is wrong. working will totally opposite in that case. in case of motor running green pilot light glow and when motor stops red pilot light glow
In option C - wiring of motor is wrong, its auxiliary contact must be NC.
In option D - In place of overload relay symbol used is for contator.
