a)the work done is the shaded area..
area of one square is = 200*10^3*1=200000 J..
from the figure we can see 6 and a half squares are shaded..
5 complete square and 1 half square and 1 triangle area = 0.5 * 2 * 1 = 1 square
so work done is 6.5*200000 = 1300 kJ
b)as the gas is monoatomic
change in internal energy = 3/2nR(T_2 - T_1) = 3/2P(V_2 - V_1) = 3/2*200(5 - 1) = 1200 kJ
c)
now according to the first law of thermodynamics
Q = U + W = 1300 + 1200 = 2500 kJ
