a) In X direction

Since R=( ?L)/A

(3.10x10-5 ohm-m X 0.02m) / (0.08m X 0.04m)

= 1.9375x10-4 ohm


b) Y direction

(3.10x10-5 ohm-m X 0.08m) / (0.02m X 0.04m)

= 3.1x10-3 ohm


c) Z direction

(3.10x10-5 ohm-m X 0.04m) / (0.08m X 0.02m)

= 7.75x10-4 ohm


d)Since resistance is minimum in X direction Current is maximum here

e)Resistance is maximum in Y direction . Hence minimum current here
