1.The nurse should emphasize the importance of allergic food because it is related to the growth and development of the child .Poor growth and inadequate nutrient intake might affect the growth and causes health issues ,so the parents should know the importance of food alergens and should take care that the same food should not be repeated in the childs food diet
2.Mild and moderate symptoms are shown in children during the allergies occur,they are like hives,redness of the skin,nausea,vomiting,diarrhoea ,stomach pain etc.It occurs after few hours of the food intake.
3.The most common food allergies observed in kids are eggs,milk,peanuts,soya,wheat,fish,shell fishes.
4.The nurse should create awareness and should educate her the importance of avoiding allergic foods as it is very serious and can be life threatening sometimes.The should explain the parents about the onset of symptoms,observation and diagnosis of the kids so that it could be helpful for the parents to react next time.She should provide them the list of allergic foods to be avoided and should provide them a proper diet plan.
