1) Yes ofcourse I disclosed Mike because being a good friend is not only pampering the friend also to guide him.A good friend is a friend, philosopher and guide also. If my friend do anything wrong, as an well wisher i should stop him, not pamper. So I personally donot think that Alex did ethically correct thing. Atleast if he could not report to Richman, he atleast could stop his friend otherwise he may frighten Mike to tell everything to Richman. Here Alex did nothing.
2) Ethical issues involved here are,
3) No, Alex's behaviour was not ethical because he wanted to save his friend by telling lie but he never wanted to stop his friend.
4) Mike's behaviour was also not ethical. He smoked marijuana which was againsts the ethical rules of the company.
5)Richman took an ethical decision because the person who is guilty and the person who knows all but suppress everything deservs the same punishment. To guard any unfairness is also very wrong.
