18.suicide is thought to be unethical,because,
1.according to the christian inspired philosophy-it is not the person but the evil, who commits the suicide and refuse to take interest in existence.when person do not have the liberty to give life to one ,there is no liberty in even taking off the life.
2.according to deontology- commiting suicide means,considering an idea of ending his life,which is not a universal willing act.considering oneself and satisfy oneself, is not right to end the life.so ,its unethical.
3.according to social contract- every man has to risk his life to preserve it,so suicide is not ethical.
4.accroding to science -human life is a cycle,starting from birth to death all individuals go through all stages of life.the only thing is ,how a person perceive the situation and reacts.when a person perceives no way to come out from trouble,and thinks waste of life ,he tries to end his life.But if we ust stay bold and think again,there will be a way to come out of it.
commiting suicide anyway will not solve the problem,instead of that,if we stand firmly and win the battle,it gives te model/inspiration to others.so suicidal is thought of unethical.
