The culture of ownership in an organization is whether the employees of the organization feel that they are an intregral and substantial part in the companies performance.

A leader should ensure the leaders and followers are emotionally positive, self empowered and fully engaged. The leaders should lead by example and have to trust their subordinate in their actions. They should see own decisions as integral to the firms. The leader should communicate the ownership culture to the employees they want to create. The leader should engage the employees in identifying cost-cutting opportunities. The span of control should be expanded.
