Creating Goodwill: Revise the following memo to improve its “You-Attitude”, “Positive Emphasis,” and “Reader Benefits.” Subject: Status of Building Renovations We are happy to announce that the renovation of the lobby is not behind schedule. By Monday, October 9, we should be ready to open the west end of the lobby to limited traffic. The final phase of the renovation will be placing a new marble floor in front of the elevators. This work will not be finished until the end of the month. We will attempt to schedule most of the work during the evenings so that normal business is not disrupted. Please exercise caution when moving through the construction area. The floor will be uneven and steps will be at unusual heights. Watch your step to avoid accidental tripping or falling.

Subject: On going renovation in the building.

Below are the following information in reagrds to the latest development happening within the building premise.

We are at the final phase of the renovation which would be ready by end of this month i.e.Monday i.e. 9th OCT.Once this is done, we would be opening the west end of the lobby to public. In the meantime, we have schedule the renovation work at non business hours for the convience to public at large as well as smooth working of surrounding business.

We suggest the buliding members to corporate with us & exercise caution while moving near the periphery of construction area, as the floor is still uneven, plus the steps are at unusual heights.

Therefore, we suggest the members avoid this area, so that accidental tripping or falling can be avoided.

The inconvience caused is deeply regretted !
