Question 1 : Transformation is the mechanism of uptake of DNA by one bacterium from another bacterium.
DNAase cut the naked DNA into small peices which prevent transformation preocess to occur. StrS+ DNAase+DNA control on second plate showed that transformation was reaponsible for for the result because DNAase degrade DNA preventing the StrS to uptake of resistant genes. So there is should be no growth on second plate.
