Explanation / Answer

Feminization of poverty means a large percentage of women in the world are bearing the burden of poverty and this condition is worst for women in developing and under-developed countries. It’s a fact that even highly educated women are paid less for the same position which they are sharing with a male employee in many companies. If the condition for educated women is like this, no one can imagine for uneducated ones. Many women are not hired for certain positions even though they hold a degree for it because it is believed that they cannot work hard physically specially in defence or chemical industries. Many working women don’t get the required support which they need in order to balance family and work and as a result either end up loosing their jobs or has to loose an opportunity which can boost their career growth. The condition is worst for uneducated women. Many of them are not allowed to go outside, Work and earn money. This is because of the fact that some men believe that they should dominate women and if they will allow women to work their motto will not get succeeded. This is why many women are dependent on someone or the other and leads a poor life. Women that are victims of sexual violence finds it difficult to escape this life due to abuse of power, organized crime, and insufficient laws to protect them. Getting into such life which is prostitution may or may not be choice but discrimination in workplace is not an individual’s choice. This situation can be handled only if workplace provides equal opportunities to both men and women, Family supports their women and appreciate them for their efforts and strict laws for sexual abuse are made
