a) Gulf stream = A

This is the western flank of the north atlantic oceanic current circulation which originated from the gulf of Mexico and stretches to the tip of the Florida, it a warm and swift oceanic current, at about 40N and 30W it splits into two parts which is one goes to the north and named as north atlantic drift and its southern part named as the canary current.

b) Brazil current - C

This is the current which flows along the eastern coast or flank of the brazil country this generates due to the bifurcation of the south equatorial current, of which one goes northward and one goes southward that is named as the brazil current, it is warm and swift current of water which meets with the east wind current in southern tip of america.

c) Canary = D

This current is generated after the splition of the main gulf of atream, its southern split is called as the canary current, it is the cold and slow current which generates at the bifurcation of the north atlantic current and goes upto senegal of african continent where it turns west ang merges with the north equatorial current.It is called as canary because its flow is blocked by the island archipelago called as canary.

d) West wind drift = E

This current is known as the antarctic circumpolar current(ACC) which flows around the antarctica continent and these are cold and smooth flowing currents are.These currents are blowing from west to east in clockwise direction around the antarctic continent, this circulation of wind is also called as the west wind drift becaue its flow originates from west.
