Write a MATLAB script to fit the following data set obtained from a Vibration experiment, 'polyfit' function in MATLAB cannot be used, however it can be used for comparing your results. Effective displacement response of a mechanical system at a point was experimentally measured at different frequency of excitation and was saved in xls file (attached file with this assignment, 'Vibration_Res.xlsx'). Hence, you have two columns of data. Colum 1 is for frequency (@ 0.01 KHz) and Column 2 (Normalized Displacement) is for effective displacement. Find a suitable fit function using Least Square Method (LSM). Show your interpretation using different order (i.e. order of polynomial 3, 5, 7, 9) of polynomials.
