Chapter8:1)Due to population increase,many problems arise in rural as well as in urban areas. More utilizatiin of food products and water takes place. As the generation keeps changing,people tend to change from time to time. Their needs may not be constant. Due to more utilization of products,more production must be done. Due to more productivity,many resources are which may lead to scarcity of resources.
Chapter9:1)factors that influence a poor couple to have children are:
a)As they are poor,having more number of children may highly affect their economic growth.
b)If there are girl children,there are more possibilities for spending more money for them when compared to boy childeen.
c)The major problem is they cannot afford things easily as they have only limited money.
d)The education of the children is a big question mark as they cannot study in best schools.
e)If the family situation is so worst,children may be forced to take the form of child labour.
Chapter10:1)Earth's surface may not remain the same all the time. Due to deforestation for example,many trees are cut down,which leads to scarcity of rainfall and loss of shelter to many living organisms like birds.
As the amount of rainfall decreases,water scarcity prevails,and ground water level decreases,due to which both living organisms as well as humans are affected.
Chapter12:1)Subsistence agriculture is nothing but cultivating on a daily basis in order to prevent scarcity in production. Sustainability can be acheived through this type of agricultute because during scarcity period,when this agriculture has been done,the available products can be used temporarily till the scarcity period comes to an end.
Chapter14:1)Now a days fuels are used for variety of purposes. Smoke free fuels are being used which reduces the level of unwanted gas in the surroundings.
At houses,LPG is used as a means for cooking purpose .
