Question
Help me paraphrase this, please.
Antibiotic resistance is when bacteria is no longer killed or inactivated by antibiotics that had been previously effective. According to the CDC “antibiotic resistance is one of the world’s most pressing public health problems. (CDC.gov). Commonly people think antibiotics are received from health care providers in an effort to be cured of infections. (Frieden & Davies, 2013). Antibiotics are supposed to kill the bacteria that can make us sick, but when bacteria are resistant, they are not killed. Then they can continue to multiply even in the presence of antibiotics. This limits how those infections can be treated. Should know that the bacteria in the person or animal become resistance to antibiotics. Resistance bacteria can be spread around among people, animal and the environment.
Explanation / Answer
Yes the antibiotics resistance is the serious problem now days.
It means on the regular or chronic use of the antibiotics may cause the resistance.
It means the bacteria get resistance to that antibiotics and then the effect of that antibiotics against that bacterial stain is minimized or lost.
This is the serious problem now a days as people are having the tendency to frequent use the antibiotics unnecessary or without the prescription of the physician.
Hence the bacterial resistance occurs and they are not killed.
