What percentage of the world's countries were free in2004? C. Find the percent increase in the number of freecountries from 1974 to 2004? With A I added the part and not free countries then divided bythe percentage of free countries and this seems to be correct but Iam having alot of problems solving B & C.Explanation / Answer
A. you add all the numbers: 48 + 41 + 63 = 152 , and to get % offree: 41/152 = .2697 x 100 to get % = 26.97%
B. you do the same here: 89/192 = .4635 x 100 = 46.35%
C. 89 - 41= 48 more countries in 2004 than 1974
