Explanation / Answer

at start (t = 0) the height y = 0, then up and down, ..., so y = 0.75 [1 - cos(2t/T)], where T is the period after 8T, it moves around once, so after t = (2/3) *(8T) = 16T/3 y = 0.75 [1 - cos(32/3)] = 0.75 [1 - cos(2/3)] = 1.125 ft t = 16T/3 = 5T + T/3, after 5T, it is at the bottom, after T/3, it is still rising, (after T/2, it begins going down) so after t, it is going up.
