Question
can you help me solve this problemGravity is responsible for an object falling toward Earth. The farther the object falls, the faster it is moving when it hits the ground. For each second that an object falls, its speed increases by a constant amount, called the acceleration due to gravity, denoted g. One way to calculate the value of g is to use a simple pendulum
L(feet)............. 0.5...........1.0..........1.5
T(seconds)..... 0.78.........1.11........1.36
I need to solve for g as T=2 sqr root of L/G
Explanation / Answer
T = 2l/g
T^2 = 4^2l/g
g= 4^2l/T^2
Since this is a data set, solve for each value of g, grapph the values, draw a trend line and use slope of trend line to find average value of g
