total salary=salary+comission=500+0.1x

y=500+0.1x

Plan B

y=1500+0.02x

b) inorder to make no difference

500+0.1x=1500+0.02x

1000=0.08x

x=1000/0.08=$12500

we have to make a sale of $12500

c)I choose Plan A because after you sell the $12500 we get more in plan A compared to plan B
