If the dice are unloaded, a short listing of the combinations of the dice will give the probability of occurrence for each number. The expected value of each number is then the probability multiplied by 300. the total number of throws. The values of interest are tabulated as follows: From these data the value of chi-squared is calculated as 8.034. If Table 3.6 is consulted, the probability is given as P = 0.626.

in order to get a sum of 2 we hve only 1 outcome 1,1 therfore probbility is 1/36

sum of 3 we hve 2 outputs namely 1,2 2,1 the probability is 2/36 = 1/18

sum of 4 we have 3 outputs namely 1,3 2,2 3,1 = 3/36. = 1/12

similarly for 5 we got 4 outputs ,for 6 we have 5 ouputs , for 7 we get 6 ouputs , for 8 - 5 o/ps , 9 - 4 o/ps ,

10 - 3 o/ps, 11 - 2 o/ps , 12 - 1 o/p
