Fifty part-time students were asked how many courses they were taking this term. The results are shown of Courses Frequency Relative Frequency Cumulative Relative Frequ Exactly 1 Exactly 2 Exactly 3 Table 1.33 Part-time Student Course Loads Assume all of the students are taking at least 1 course. Assume none of the students are taking more than 3 courses. How many students are taking exactly 3 courses? What percent of students take exactly two courses? Enter answer as a percent with o decimal places (integer) without the percent sign

Explanation / Answer

Here Relative Frequency of exactly one is 0.6

Now Relative frequency =frequency/total number

so total n=30/0.6=50

So For exactly 3 frequency is 50-30-15=5

Now for exactly 2 relative frequency is 15/50=0.3

As we know cummulative frequency is added frequency

So for A value would be 0.6+0.3=0.9
