In all 1347 teachers return the questionnaire. 1. Will this sampling method introduce bias? Explain. 2. If many samples were taken using this method would the sample proportions of those that want a national test for high school graduation be accurate? Explain. 3. If many samples were taken using this method would the sample proportions of those that want a national test for high school graduation be precise. Explain.Explanation / Answer
1. 2500 teachers are chosed at tandom from the list, so it follows Simple random sampling
2. When as many samples were taken from the population while calculating propotion of high school graduation the accuracy is increased. Accuracy is the how a proportion(calculated value) is closed to real or known value. When we icrease the sample size the proportion of accuracy is increased always.
3. When many samples were taken in simple random sampling the proportion of high school graduation is exact but it may different from the value of one proportion to another.
When we many samples were taken it may vary precise but inaccurate.
