Construct a grouped frequency distribution table (GFDTO for this data set. You want 10 classes with a "nice" class width. Your classes should be labeled using interval notation. Each class contains its lower class limit, and the lower class limits should all be multiples of the class width. In that the data appears to be discrete, use a closed-interval to label each class. For example, if the first is 0-9, then enter the class as [0, 9].Explanation / Answer
here smallest value=335 and greatest value=426
range=greates - lowest=426-335=91
number of classs=10 ( it is given)
class width=range/number of class=91/10=9.1
since lower class limit should be multiple of class width, so the first class should start from 330 to 339 using closed interval. the required data range and frequency is given as
Data range frequency 330 - 339 2 340 - 349 3 350 - 359 2 360 - 369 3 370 - 379 2 380 - 389 5 390 - 399 5 400 - 409 2 410 - 419 1 420 - 429 3 total 28Related Questions
