What does an outline contain?
Speech outline is a brief about the contents of your speech. It can consist of 3 parts:
a. Introduction
b. Body
c. Conclusion.
How long should an outline be?
Outline can be a single sentance statement which encompases the 3 points listed above. it should not be too long so that the purpose is lost
Should you incorporate in-text citations in an outline? Why or why not?
intext citations are only required when you elaborate the body of your speech. Outline is meant only to have a check on the logical connectivity between points and also to check how well the content is organise
What’s the benefit of spending quality time producing a detailed, specific outline?
Outiline is mainly intended in helping to deliver the speech clearly and effectively. It helps in testing the logical relationships with the contents and also in organisaing the message so that it is easy for the audience to understand.
