Joaquin Salvador Lavado nació (was born) en Argentina en 1932 (mil novecientos treinta y dos). Su nombre profesional es Quino. Es muy popular en Latinoamérica, Europa y Canadá por sus tiras cómicas (comic strips). Mafalda es su serie más famosa. La protagonista, Mafalda, es una chica muy inteligente de seis años (years). La tira cómica ilustra las aventuras de ella y su grupo de amigos. Las anécdotas de Mafalda y los chicos también presentan temas (themes) importantes como la paz peace) y los derechos humanos (human rights).

Answer 2) Mafalda is like Dark haired girl who has a red bow on her hair.She is too mature as per her age.

Answer 3) Mafalda seems to be in her bed in panel 1. She is trying to sleep by counting sheeps.

Answer 4) The sheep in the panel 3 get stuck and refuses to jump relating to fear of crossing a barrier.

Answer 5) Mafalda realises that the sheep is afraid and stuck and is not willing to jump and that is why she wakes up to encourage that sheep.

Answer 6) The number that corresponds to the sheep in panel 5 is 26.

Answer 7) In panel 6 , Mafalda has closed her eyes and is sleeping calmly has she has helped the sheep number 26 to overcome his fear.
