Discuss how the results of the following statistical tests could be used to address the question through a different lens: ANOVA, linear regression and logistic regression

You are interested in the association between type of health insurance 1) medicaid and medicare , 2) medicare alone 3) private insurance) and blood pressure. You would ideally like to adjust for age. You may not be able to adjust in all cases, if not please explain why. You may have to manipulate the variables.

Assume that you meet the necessary assumptions of sample size and normality for each of the statistical tests.

linear Regression

Basically we use when we wont check there is any relation/ Association between

Responce/dependent variable and independent variable .

Also we use linear regression for prediction .

Assumption

1)normality

2) constant variance

3) liniarity

4) no multicolinearity

This is the best method for your data I advice you.

Logistic regression

basically we use when we have binary responce/dependent variable

If you have binary responce variable then you use this method.

ANOVA

Anova we use when we wont comparision of means of more than two groups.

Linear regression is the best method for your data.
